MEET THE FOUNDER — WARREN BAVERSTOCK, MSc
OPERATOR. DESIGNER. INDEPENDENT VOICE.
Independent oversight built on direct operational and design experience — not theory or observation from the outside.
For three decades, Warren Baverstock has worked inside aquarium and zoological operations across the UK and Middle East, holding operational responsibility for live animal welfare, complex life support systems, and the pressures of regulatory and public scrutiny, while leading concept definition and design development for sovereign-scale marine-life attractions such as AMAALA's Corallium, Red Sea Marine Life Institute.
Working directly alongside world-class architects, he translates marine biology and operational reality into feasible design decisions at the earliest stage, when they matter most. That experience extends to delivery — including the design of SEVEN Entertainment's Al Khobar aquarium destination, one of Saudi Arabia's most significant family entertainment developments. This rare combination means ArcVigil sees what a purely technical or purely commercial advisor cannot.
That experience now informs every project ArcVigil undertakes, ensuring what is designed can be built, operated, and sustained under real-world conditions.

and Asia
The most significant regulatory change in decades is approaching. Facilities must demonstrate higher standards of welfare, governance, and operational control.
New attractions continue to be developed across Europe and beyond. The complexity of delivering zoological and marine-life facilities continues to increase.
Sovereign-scale marine-life developments are redefining what attractions can become, requiring expertise that combines design, delivery, and sustainability.
Independent oversight that connects design, operation, welfare, governance, and commercial performance before problems become embedded and failure becomes expensive.
EXPERIENCE THAT DEFINES THE PRACTICE
OPERATOR. DESIGNER. RECOVERY SPECIALIST. INDEPENDENT VOICE.

Proven experience translating complex operational realities into clear decision impact at board, investor, and government level. Operating where commercial judgement and operational truth must align.
Bridging the gap between creative vision and operational delivery, ensuring what is imagined can be built, operated, and maintained over time.
Built on years of frontline experience, not advising from the outside. Understanding how systems, teams, and every single decision supports real-world performance.
Extensive experience reviewing, challenging, and rectifying underperforming facilities. Understanding where design fails in reality and how to correct it before consequences become permanent.
Leading conservation and research programmes that produced peer reviewed publications and world-first discoveries. Proven ability to combine operational rigour with scientific credibility at the highest level.
