CORALLIUM - RED SEA GLOBAL - AMAALA
BURJ AL ARAB - JUMEIRAH GROUP
A sovereign-scale landmark marine life institute and coral conservation facility at the heart of the AMAALA destination on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast — from concept through to operational delivery, one of the most ambitious marine life projects ever undertaken in the Middle East. What began as an architectural competition entry became a world-first marine life institution, conceived, purposed, and developed from the ground up. From the initial concept definition and operational model, through to master planning, architectural design, life support system development, conservation integration, construction initiation, and operational readiness delivery, we shaped and defined the Red Sea Marine Life Institute from first principles.
A world-class aquarium facility at one of the world's most iconic luxury destinations. A comprehensive review of life support systems and exhibit infrastructure was undertaken, leading to the development and delivery of an extensive five-year refurbishment and improvement programme covering life support architecture, exhibit infrastructure, and operational processes. The result was a significantly enhanced operational model, elevated animal health and welfare standards, and a guest experience befitting one of the most recognised luxury destinations in the world. The project also included the discovery of the world's first parthenogenesis research programme for zebra sharks, supported by a peer-reviewed published scientific paper.
NATIONAL MARINE AQUARIUM - UK
AMAQ AQUARIUM - SEVEN ENTERTAINMENT
A landmark marine conservation attraction in Plymouth, home to the deepest aquarium exhibit in the UK. The exhibit, holding 2.5 million litres of water, was brought from final construction through commissioning into a fully operational, welfare-led habitat. The work included the importation, quarantine, and introduction of over 1,500 animals into the newly completed system, alongside the coordinated transfer of sharks, rays, and fish from existing exhibits, requiring detailed planning across animal handling, water quality, and life support readiness. The project remains one of the National Marine Aquarium's defining attractions, supporting its ongoing mission in marine education and conservation.

Developed as part of SEVEN Entertainment Group's major family entertainment destination in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, AMAQ Aquarium is a landmark facility spanning fifteen immersive galleries dedicated exclusively to the marine habitats of the Arabian Gulf and Red Sea. Rooted in the heritage and culture of the Kingdom, the facility delivers a powerful combination of guest experiences, education, and conservation, featuring an exceptional back-of-house access programme.
